i'm a scientist

🧊xenoblade fan, m:tg lore fan, tabletop roleplayer, ff14 player, bionicle nerd. loves to worldbuild to a detrimental degree. main fronter. a dragon who moonlights as a partially-scaled jakkai. she/her, shi/hir

--

🌹Magic: The Gathering gameplay fan, Fortnite player, Gundam and mecha fan. Loves awful puns and foxes. Secondary fronter. Zoroark/Braixen/Dragon hybrid, taur-adjacent, fine with just being called a dragon. She/her.

--

🐭robotic lab rat. enjoys scientific pursuits above all else, though also likes being small. desires total world domination but only in the sense of turning everyone into rodents and doing nothing else. third most common fronter. she/they/it

--

🧬Deer-shaped robot chassis carrying a nonhuman intelligence. Don't ask about the name, please. Also into mecha and sci-fi in general as well as nature, surprisingly enough. Rarely fronts, extremely grumpy when I do. Would be very horny if not for problems with the body. Is the main one who directs what we wear when being fancy. They/she.

--

🌊Aquatic dragoness who's part rat. Tabletop player, fan of tinkering and mechanical things of all sorts. Eternally upset magic isn't real, purely because that means I can't mess with it. Shi/hir, she/her

🤍 Say something positive about another system member (or all of them, if you'd like!)

(the questions this is from which we're still willing to answer)

Xena Snowscale

rel's cute and it's nice having another system member who's so hyperfocused on character stuff for tabletop

a zoroark/braixen wearing a leather jacket. only one of her eyes is visible, the other is covered by her hair. art by kitsuneten on twitter.

Rose Styla

Even if it seems like I complain about how Xena acts sometimes, her humor is so wonderful~

a lab rat wearing a pair of pince-nez style lime green glasses, a lime green turtleneck, and a lab coat. she's adjusting her glasses, and opening and closing her mouth. the inside of her mouth is lime green. art by batnoise and unholylykoi/sylar on twitter/tumblr.

Penny Kaiser

Rose's passion - for competitive games, for her beliefs - is deeply inspiring.

a screen-faced robotic deer. they wear an orange crown of flowers and an orange cloak of leaves, with two orange horns and large ears that go outside of the image border. they have blue lights on their visor that represent them blinking. batnoise and unholylykoi/sylar on twitter/tumblr.

Willow "Ayre" Eve

Penny's really good at science shit. Also impeccable comedic timing too somehow, never fucking expect that from her.

Rel Hermes

Ayre fucks good.

💜 What's your favorite part of being plural / in a system?

(the questions this is from which we're still willing to answer)

we can take breaks if we get too tired pretending to be human. also i am full of other beastie girls meaning there's always someone to talk to and/or be teased by

I know I'm far from the only person saying this, but I saw an interaction on social media this morning that makes me want to remind everyone:

  1. You don't need a diagnosis to be plural. You don't need to qualify for a diagnosis to be plural.
  2. You can just be plural, for any reason you please or no reason at all. It's usually for trauma reasons, but it doesn't have to be.
  3. Having a highly stigmatized diagnosis like DID on your records actually tends to be a bad thing when it comes to insurance, jobs, government assistance, psych incarceration…

So yeah! Diagnosis ain't what it's cracked up to be, and plurality is a wide and wonderful spectrum of experiences that a diagnosis can't pretend to encompass all of. The psych system is fucked up; don't worship at its altar of diagnosis!
